SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and Agile Scrum are both frameworks that promote Agile practices, but they have different areas of focus and are designed to serve different purposes.

Agile Scrum is a specific framework for managing software development projects. It is a lightweight process that emphasizes iterative development, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Agile Scrum involves working in short cycles called sprints, where the team delivers small, working increments of the product at the end of each cycle. The Agile Scrum framework includes roles like Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Development Team, and practices such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.

SAFe, on the other hand, is a framework for scaling Agile practices across an entire organization. SAFe is designed to help larger organizations adopt Agile practices in a way that is consistent and scalable across multiple teams and departments. It provides guidance for managing large-scale programs and portfolios, and helps organizations align their strategy and execution with the needs of the business. SAFe includes roles like Product Manager, Release Train Engineer, and Solution Architect, and practices such as PI (Program Increment) Planning, Solution Demo, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
